This piece was born in April 2020. I kept feeling so much unrest in the country and it concerned me. I was raised in Canada, yet have lived in the US since I was 16. I believe in the beauty and freedom we are privileged to experience every single day.
Home of the Brave and Land of the Free I changed the image several times until this week and finally I felt like the image had it's story. This country has nurtured and supported me for years. I am nestled in the most beautiful valley surrounded by vineyards and mountains. How Grateful I am to be an American and now I believe we must put our efforts into healing and uplifting each other and giving back to a country that is the best place to live.
