Angel and her Hawk, Jessel Miller
Picture
This was the start of this painting. It was called The Two Monks. I felt like it needed more and the soul was missing.

I let it sit for weeks and then suddenly I splattered paint on it and the face of an Angel appeared. I did not paint this face so I knew it was meant to be.

My husband looked at the piece and said he saw a hawk below her hand, so I painted his hawk.

That afternoon as he was walking our property a hawk appeared and he called me excited about the coincidence.

I believe all these paintings are guided by "Spirit" and I love when other people see things I do not see and I get to what I call "push" the vision in a new direction.
The paintings are very different in person as one of my clients told me recently. She said they are much more powerful large as opposed to our small screens. I had never thought about their ,impact until she said this.

I look forward to sharing these images in person someday soon.

The Light around this Angel radiates a brilliant glow. The heart on her chest came from my discovering a huge blob of purple paint on this piece the morning after I painted it and when I dug off the paint, a heart appeared so I painted it gold!

The hawk symbolizes a need to start looking forward, envisioning your path ahead, and perhaps even preparing for a greater role in life. ... A hawk sighting is a direct message from the angels and the Great Spirit that the time has come to spread your wings, to fly higher, and to expand your vision."
